Un Air d'Hadrien immediately transports you to Italy. The burning sun and the blinding light of Tuscany add to the charm of its cypress-lined terraces. The hottest hour of the day is the best time to sink into the soft shade of the lemon trees and reread a few passages from Memoirs of Hadrian.
The faceted glass of the candle holder reinterprets the pleats of the brand's iconic godron fragrance bottle.
Notes: Sicilian lemon and Cypress.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Before discovering her genuine gift for creating perfumes, Annick Goutal used to dabble as a fashion model and a pianist. In 1981, Annick opened her first eponymous shop at rue de Bellechasse, Paris and back in her workshop, she pursued her love for beautiful raw materials. She soon made a name for herself, thanks to the originality of her creations, such as Eau d’Hadrien and Petite Cherie, which presaged the dawn of a unique olfactory adventure. At Annick Goutal, olfactory creations contain the rarest and noblest essences, almost all stemming from its natural origin, such as Sicilian lemon, Damascus rose, Italian iris and tuberose from Grasse. Raw materials were – and still are - chosen with the greatest care and extreme precision to achieve - note after note - the perfect harmony. Annick bequeathed her love of perfume to her daughter, Camille, and her lifelong colleague, Isabelle Doyen, both of whom have since become the house’s perfumers and creators of the new products.
